Term	Meaning
Cursor	The on-screen pointer indicating current input position
Cache	Small, high-speed memory storing frequently accessed data for faster retrieval
Cookie	A small file stored by a website in your browser to remember information
Bug	An error or flaw in a program causing incorrect behaviour
Patch	A software update that fixes bugs or security issues
Booting	The process of starting up a computer and loading the OS
Driver	Software that allows the OS to communicate with a hardware device
Bandwidth	The maximum data transfer rate of a network connection
Kernel	The core part of an OS that manages system resources

💡 "Cold boot" means starting a computer from a completely powered-off state; "warm boot" means restarting without fully powering off (a reboot).
